I was walking towards a particular destination sometimes ago, I met an acquaintance on the way who told me she was going for spiritual check up. I asked to know what that meant, she replied by telling me that she was going for a deliverance session to know if some demons has entered into her. Isn't that surprising?
There are a lot of deliverance houses today with so man unscriptural practices, they'll tell you to come for deliverance prayers and still you don't get delivered. Jesus didn't pray deliverance first, he preached deliverance. The foolishness of preaching is meant to disseminate to you the knowledge you need to have about your 'bigger than demons status'. If you understand that your new position in Christ is greater than demons, you'll get your deliverance and stay delivered.
The path to true deliverance is knowledge. Stay under preachers that exalts the greatness of God than devil. The bible devil that I know has been defeated and as a believer, God gave you the authority to deal with him. Jesus told his listeners that he saw the devil fall like a lightening from heaven. When a so called deliverance ministry glorifies the devil more than God, you'll never walk in the freedom God intended for you.
If you know your right, authority and privileges in Christ, you will walk in freedom.
