Sometimes, we think we are smart. We live in the age where people psyche us up in the name of motivational speaking and they encourage us to use our brain to plan, programme and set smart goals. That's fine by me but when you plan, programme and set smart goals outside God's will, you will miss it.
The first step to success in life is to find God's perfect will for your life then you can talk about other things. It may take time before hearing God out but it pays to listen to him. Stop trying to figure out what God has planned, ask him. In the kingdom, we don't try to fathom the mystery of his will with our head but we check with the Spirit.
Those that rush into decision making without asking the Spirit keep moving in a circle. Do you know God's will about that relationship, career plan, ministry plan or that thing you are about to venture into? Do you want to succeed in God's way? Ask the Spirit. In the kingdom, we don't think it out, we hear it out from the Spirit.
Father, I receive grace to hear you out on every step I want to take In Jesus name.
