SPIRITUAL WARFARE TRAINING
When the Israelites sojourned through the wilderness, they met with stiff oppositions. The only available option was for them to fight. During the wilderness years of David when his life was hunted for, those years were years of great battle, opposition and attacks. The only option for survival was to fight. God teaches his children the art of spiritual warfare during the wilderness season of life. Life is warfare not funfare.
I pity believers who ruled out the existence of what we call spiritual warfare. They misunderstood the Bible or maybe they chose to ignore certain truths like we see in Ephesians 6:10 downwards. From the day you gave your life to Christ, you became the devil's enemy. If no one has ever told you that you are his prime target, you're getting to know now. However, the kind of warfare we are fighting is not a war against the devil per se because Jesus whipped him on the cross and gave us victory(Col2:14-15).
Our warfare is from the standpoint of someone demanding for the manifestation of what has been done in Christ and drawing a 'don't trespass' line for the devil. That's because he always want to trespass not minding whether you're saved or not. The devil has trespassed by making some believers fall sick even unto death. He frustrated and oppressed some. Knowing how to stop and take back from him what he has taken from you is the warfare we are talking about. In your wilderness season, get ready to do warfare. You can't get to your promised land without opposition, get ready to fight.
Father, I receive grace to conquer the battles of life In Jesus name
