Mark 11:24 When you pray and you ask for something, believe that you have received it and you will be given what you asked for” GNT
There is something about the life of faith that makes it look foolish to the carnal man. Do you think it made sense when Abram changed his name to Abraham( father of many) in his barren state? To the natural man, it is the height of foolishness. How can you call yourself a 'daddy' when there are no kids? To make matters worse, you testified that you are a daddy of babies when your wife hasn't been pregnant once. Here in my society, they may think you're insane. Faith is not believing God can do something. Faith is not hoping he will do something. Faith is thanking God in advance that he has done it.
You have to thank God in advance in order to get your miracles. If you thank God after you got it, that’s gratitude. When you thank him in advance, that’s called faith. You can take it a step by testifying about it. That's another dimension of faith that some see as risky and foolish. When you confess the word of God about what you want to see, it is not different from testifying about what God has done that you intend to see. The same principle works for both. The prayer of faith requires that you believe God has done what you requested for even if you have not seen it.
Pastor E. A. Adeboye said that many years ago, he was instructed by God to thank Him for days without asking for anything. It was after that season of thanksgiving the church experienced massive expansion. Start thanking Him for miracles that you haven't seen. Live as if you're in possession of answers to your prayers.
Father I thank you because you have answered my prayers. Glory hallelujah!
