2 Kings 19: 10 “Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying: ‘Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”
In 2 Kings 19:8-35, there was an Assyrian king whose name was Sennacherib. He threatened Hezekiah by testifying to him through the letter he sent to him. Hezekiah was the king of Judah. This Assyrian king testified about how they conquered many nations and ruined them. In fact, he was contemptuous in his letter by belittling the God of Israel. He told Hezekiah not to trust in the living God because He wasn't capable of delivering him and the nation he ruled over.
Around you, there are people who testify to the exploits of the devil. They are always quick to tell you the bad outcome of someone who was in your condition. They don't see any positive thing coming out of your challenges. They are the mouth piece of the devil. The devil has sent such people out so that your faith can shake and shut down totally. The negative testimonies we hear have a negative impact on us in a way if we dwell on them. Not many bedfast patients can survive hearing that someone died because of thesame ailment. That's why we must be careful with what we say around people going through hard times.
The enemy also testifies. The devil may testify about why your case is impossible to solve and he may back it up with examples and case studies. You must know how to take the mic from the devil and switch off his P. A. system. Keep testifying about God's greatness and his wonders that you read about in the word. Tell the devil what God's word says and cite to him several cases of God's miraculous act. If you know someone who had been through what you're going through, simply tell the devil that If God can perform His miracle in that person's life and turn things around, then he can do it in your life as well. Learn to counter the devil's testimony.
CONFESSION: I refuse to dwell on negative testimonies of the enemy. My gaze is fixed on the word. I see my miracles, healing and deliverance coming In Jesus name.
