Matthew15:6'...Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition..(9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for for doctrines the commandments of men
The Pharisees were religious people and they believe so much in obeying certain rituals and rites because they want to appear to men as holy and to God as righteous. They took some of those things too far and hypocrisy was celebrated, they put too much burden on the people the type they themselves cannot bear.
Today in some of our churches, I hope we are not slipping into Pharisaic practices where we put unnecessary burden on people. When the traditions of men is against the ways of God, such tradition needs to be discarded sharply. If you still believe that you have to buy alcohol for elders before they can pray for you, then you may be inviting demons to in habit your life.
Certain people still hold some superstitious beliefs and they go to church, they put into practice age-long beliefs that Christ has nullified. There are christian pregnant women that still attach a pin to their cloth during pregnancy and some sleep face-up because they don't want a demon to possess their unborn babies. That's arrant nonsense!
Until you discard the traditions of men that is against God, you cannot experience the glorification of God that is above worldly wisdom.
Father, discard men's tradition that is in opposition to the teaching of grace In Jesus name. Amen
