WE ASK FOR THE NATIONS

November 23, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 3 views

Psalms2:8 Ask, and I will give you all the nations; the whole earth will be yours.

The Greek word 'ethne' is translated as nations, it means tribes, people and ethnicities. God's mandate for us as believers is to go into all nations and preach the gospel to them, Matthew28:19. Our mandate is a global one and God is sending us to people that have not been reached with the gospel.

It may interest you to know that out of the 6.7billion people on earth, those that haven't been reached with the gospel are in billions. Until all the nations of the world is reached, Jesus won't come, Matthew24:14. I know you want Jesus to come soon. I want your vision to enlarge and your desire should be to see the knowledge of his glory spread throughout the whole earth.

In your prayers, I want you to ask God for nations and say 'father, give me Cambodia and let your glory spread amongst them'. Yours may not be the country I mentioned, you may have to research on countries in need and ask for them. The increase in terrorism and wars is a setback for the gospel because it would be hard for labourers to enter into those places.

I want you to be a global Christian whose vision isn't limited to his locality but to see his master's glory spread throughout the earth.

Action point

Father, I ask for the heathen nations today, Lord give them unto me and use me to reach them In Jesus name. Amen
