Haggai2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
The children of Israel were in exile to a strange land, prior to that time, the temple of Solomon had been destroyed but during Ezra's time, the foundation was laid (Ezra3:8-13) but work stopped (Ezra4:1-6,24) due to opposition from enemies. When Zerubbabel became the leader, God spoke through Prophet Haggai that the glory of the new temple would surpass the former.
What led to destruction of the temple and captivity of the Jews was their sins. They disobeyed God and the gentiles destroyed the temple. Your life represents that temple of God that has to carry the glory of God. There is a glory that God wants to restore in your life, that glory shall surpass the former because God said so. God's glory in your life could be that unique anointing that is peculiar to you, that gifting or grace that stands you out.
In times of disobedience, carelessness and prayerlessness, there are precious things in our lives that gets missing. People pray so much about restoration of glory but not too many check why the glory was missing in the first place. It is good that you check your life for glory leakages. God has promised to restore his glory in your life more than before, it is time to receive it and guard it jealously.
Father, I block every glory leakage(s) in my life and I ask for a restoration of glory In Jesus name. Amen
