Zechariah4:7 Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, grace unto it.
Zerubbabel was one of the leaders of Israel while in exile. He was saddled with the responsibility of rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem and that was more than enough task for him. I perceive that alone seemed to be an insurmountable mountain but the mountain didn't move until he challenged that mountain. Who art thou mountain before Zerubbabel?
Today, I want you to challenge the mountain in your life and push it where it belongs. There are mountains that may not move, you may have to climb over them. Which ever way it is, victory over that mountain is key. Mark 11:23 is a scriptural recipe on how to deal with mountains decisively and make them plain.
There are mountains of joblessness, barreness, frustration, sick marriage, poverty,etc. No matter the type of mountain it may be, there is no mountain that can stand the word of faith in your mouth. If you can speak to that mountain to move from here to yonder, without doubting in your heart by standing on your confession, mountain will move.
Stop celebrating mountains, challenge them and move.
