Hosea5:4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
Years ago, I was invited to preach in a youth gathering, during counselling session, a young man came to me and told me about how he has been sleeping with a mother of four whose husband is still alive. I was jolted like a statue in the midst of an over-flowing river but I composed myself immediately and gave him wise counsel. For those in the spirit, you will agree with me that the world has become so corrupt sexually with lots of publicity.
The spirit behind operation is known as the spirit of whoredom. That spirit controls all acts of perversion like masturbation, bestiality, incest, pre marital sex, homosexuality, sadomasochism, phone sex, etc. When I read news these days, the rate at which there is a recurrence of molestation, campaign for homosexual rights and the way promiscuity is being promoted is quite alarming.
The things that were counted as shameful is fast becoming a thing of pride. People now boast of their sexual escapades on line and the market of sex toys and drugs is fast-selling. If you are not careful as a Christian, that spirit is seeking to control you and make a mess of your life. You must close the two major gates that gives that demon access into your life- eye gate and ear gate.
If you're struggling with sexual sin, let the word of God fill your heart, and gain mastery of what you look at and what you hear. That's how to stand.
I cast out that demon of whoredom from my life and I receive grace to control myself in what I watch and hear In Jesus name. Amen
