Malachi2:16 For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
The Christian world in this end-time has experienced dissolution of Christian marriages by courts and several divorce cases like it has never been in previous years. This demonic onslaught on marriage is not elusive of men of God and preachers as their homes are the first target of the enemy.
These days, people wave off the issue of divorce with the left hand especially in the western world. Some even use scriptures to back-up their failures to keep their homes intact but God's word says God hates divorce. I believe that if God hates divorce in the old testament, then he won't suddenly like what he hated in the new testament. Christ didn't divorce us when we messed-up but rather he washed us and made us presentable before God.
I want you to know that there is no home that God can't rescue from crisis. It is God's will for your marriage to be intact. Divorce is the way of the world to avoid responsibility for one's actions and correct it. The aftermath effect of divorce is on the kids; unresolved issues is a poison. If you need counsel, prayerfully get a sound Christian counsellor involved.
My home shall stay intact in God's love in Jesus name. Amen
