Matthew18:19 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
There are several types of prayers and one of them is the prayer of agreement. In this type of prayer, it involves entering into an agreement with another person on what should be prayed about and asking God for it in faith without wavering.
There are rules guiding the prayer of agreement and they are:
(1) The two persons involved must decide on what they want from God
(2) Their desires must have a scriptural basis and not a selfish desire
(3) Their faith must agree on the desire as the doubt of one party can nullify the answer to the prayer.
(4)Both must walk in love.
If you are married, your spouse is your ever-ready prayer partner and you must take advantage of this type of prayer. Both of you must agree and your faith has to be intact. If you keep quarreling with your spouse, you're making it hard for God to answer your prayers. Look for a prayer partner today, you both should agree on an issue of concern and change it with the prayer of agreement.
