NEVER DELEGATE HEARING GOD
I thought about the several principles of leadership I've learnt in recent years and i discovered that the principle of delegation of duties is a vital principle that can help workaholic leaders that don't want to die young because of heavy workload. However, I discovered that there are certain things we must not delegate to people as Children of God. One of such is the issue of hearing of God.
Receiving direction from God concerning how to order your life is too risky to delegate to someone else. As a preacher, I can delegate preaching assignments in some cases, I can delegate who to represent me in certain meetings that doesn't necessarily need my presence, I can delegate people to write and edit for me but it would be disastrous to delegate someone to hear God on my behalf. I have seen some people plunge into fatal error because they were never patient to be led by God but they relied on someone who was hearing 'God' on their behalf.
It would be so painful to find yourself in a painful situation that can be avoided because someone said 'thus saith the Lord'. Some are living in marital regret today because a prophet decided who they should marry. Dearest, you can hear God by yourself and be led because you're a new creation and your spirit- man is alive to hear God's voice. Secrets can be revealed to you If you can pray and seek God's face. Never delegate hearing God.
