ACCESS TO DIVINE SECRETS Pt.4

June 05, 2019 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Revelation1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.

BE IN THE SPIRIT ALWAYS

Many years ago when i was confused on the choice of whom to marry, i did not fail to switch on my spiritual antenna because i knew there was a word of direction for me from God that i have not heard as of then. One day, while returning from the laboratory where i was carrying out my project research, i heard the voice of the Holy Spirit clearly asking me why i wanted to marry sister 'x'. I couldn't give a clear answer because my motives were purely carnal not spiritual.

What is the point i'm trying to make by telling you this story? I was not praying or speaking in tongues when i heard the voice of the Spirit, the only thing i did was to be in the Spirit. What does it mean to be in the Spirit? Being in the Spirit means being in a state of heightened spiritual perception. It is a state where your spiritual antenna is on to receive signals from heaven. It is a state where your flesh is subdued for your spirit-man to dominate you and to have unhindered contact with the Holy Spirit. It is a point where your spirit operates at the frequency of heaven.

Apostle John who received and wrote the book of revelation was given access to deep eschatological secrets because he was in the Spirit. If you want to have access to the secrets of heaven, be in the Spirit always. Carnality is an enemy of access to divine secrets. It is practically impossible to hear God's voice if you're ruled by the flesh. Start building your spirit man. An insensitive Christian cannot have access to the secrets of God.

Action point

Father, i receive the grace to be in the Spirit always In Jesus name.
