Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. ESV
Kenneth E. Hagin wrote in one of his books about his early days in ministry. After he was healed of a terminal disease at the age of 15, one of the decisions he made was that he would preach the gospel. He entered into the ministry and he began to Pastor at an early age. However, after 12 years of active pastoring, he discovered that he was not in God's perfect will for his life. Now, thats not funny. If you have ever pastored a church actively for a year, you'll agree with me that it is hard work. Imagine God saying: " All you've been doing, i didn't send you".
Thank God he found out from God what His perfect will was for him and he keyed into it. He once had a revelation where Jesus told him that the devil planned to kill him at 55 years because he wasn't in God's perfect will. Many believers are not at the centre of God's will. So many children of God have assumed what God never said and they jumped into it. Some did not bother to ask God at all, they just believe that as long as their intentions are good, they're in God's perfect will. That's farther from the truth. There is a blue-print of God for your life awaiting your discovery.
Something was written about your life and the details of your assignment had been concluded already before you appeared on the scene. The devil knows that if he can get you out of God's perfect will for your life, then he can deal with you squarely. I want you to have a craving in your heart to be right at the centre of God's will. God will not reward you for doing anything but for doing what He has sent you to do.
Father, i receive the grace to be right at the centre of your will for my life In Jesus name.
