Sometime ago, i had a funny experience. I was invited to minister in a marathon prayer programme. An invitation was sent to me via whatsapp and i scanned through it not paying attention to the theme of the programme. I saw another poster with a very captivating theme and that registered in my memory. I prepared my message and gave it a title that was relevant to the theme that i paid attention to. You may wonder how i became so absent minded. Well, the two themes are specific to the same church but different programmes and audience.
On the day of the programme, i drove into the street where the church was and i saw the poster of the programme i'm to minister in. It dawned on me that i hadn't paid attention to the invitation sent to me. I began to chisel out a new sermon outline from the one i prepared. The church secretary did not know what i was doing in the vehicle, he wanted me to join others inside but I appealed to him to leave me outside in the vehicle for a while. I almost suffered for my failure to pay attention to little details.
In life, there are little details that matters alot. Failure to pay attention to such details may hinder, delay and stop us from reaching our goal. What are the little details you have ignored either from the scriptures or from your day-to-day living? Little details carry powerful ideas and seed for greatness. Do not skip what God is saying to you in His word, pay attention even if the information is little.
