SEND THROUGH GIVING
I had the privilege of reading an article on how Christians give towards missions. I was amazed that out of about $33 trillion dollars that enters the church, only 0.1% of that money goes into reaching the unreached nations with the gospel. If you compare the rate at which terrorism, worldly movies and musical videos are spreading, you'll agree with me that those funding it are giving heavily without looking back. They're only concerned about what they want to promote. The devil has money bags for his missions. He hates to see God's missions succeed so he attacks the finances of God's people.
A man said that Nigerian missionaries are one of the most hardworking and prayerful missionaries but they are the poorest. I don't have facts and figures to substantiate that claim but i can relate with what he said. The work of the gospel cannot spread without finances. I like the early church because they didn't need anyone to motivate them to give. They knew it was their duty to give so that the gospel can spread on time, they committed their resources to it without restrain. There won't be a convenient time to give. True Christian giving is done out of sacrifice not out of abundance.
Dearest! God is not asking for much. It baffles me when I see Christians rush to the altar to sow all manners of seeds in response to pressure but when a call is made to support missions to the unreached, only a few respond. What is our priority? Jesus rightly said that where the treasure of a man is, there will his heart be. If we value one soul and what could happen to that soul if lost in eternal flames, we'll do everything to rescue that soul from hell even if our finances is needed.
Father, I receive the grace to be a kingdom financier In Jesus name.
