POSSESSING THE NATIONS THROUGH PRAYERS
I watched the video of a church somewhere in a West African country. Every year, they dedicated a month to praying&fasting for the unreached tribes of the world. I saw the video of another woman who gathered children and led them to pray with the globe in their hands. The map of the world was visible and they prayed fervently for the salvation of souls among unreached tribes of the world.
God told us to ask for the nations of the world. We can only do that effectively on our knees. So many Christians think all missionaries just need money and that's the only thing missionaries are looking for. That's not true. Your prayer contribution to the work of missions has its own vital role. Nothing can substitute for prayer, I mean nothing and it would cost you nothing to pray. This is something you can do without spending a dime. One of the ways to show that you really love to see the kingdom of God expand among the nations is to be an intercessor.
After a meeting where we exposed people to a little knowledge about God's mission to the unreached tribes of the world,an old woman told me that she doesn't have money because she wasn't working but she pledged to pray for missions regularly. That's the spirit! A little word of prayer regularly for the gospel to penetrate nations where the gospel has not reached shows that you are concerned about the salvation of people on their way to hell. What about praying for the missionaries? They face alot of danger and we can give them a back-up through our prayers.
Go on google and search for 'unreached tribes of the world' and adopt anyone for prayers. Tell God to open the door of those unreached tribes to the gospel and provide all that is needed for the work.
