2Thes3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
Presently, the world is in chaos. The rate of crime and killings is on the rise every day. I told someone recently that I don't bother myself listening to news because I know what they will say. There's virtually no time we won't hear about terrorism, suicide bombing, abduction, accident or war. People are no longer living in peace and we have become glorified prisoners.
The iron burglaries in our houses are so strong to the extent that if any body wants to break in, he may have to break the wall. As believers, where do we stand in all these? God is the God of peace also known as 'Jehovah Shalom'. The peace the world is looking for cannot be found in military intervention, paper policies of United Nation conventions but can only be found in Christ.
We call Christ the prince of peace, he is the dispenser of peace. If you lack peace in your life, simply accept him into your life and peace will come in automatically. What is that thing that has stolen your peace? Do you have a difficult spouse, wayward child or bad life? God has promised us his peace, take your matter to the Lord in prayer, drop your issues at his feet and take his peace.
Father, I receive your peace. In Jesus name. Amen
