Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy his son in the Lord. Timothy was a very young minister when he started ministry, he was discipled by Paul for Christian living and ministry. From the beginning of the book of Timothy, Paul gave Timothy several advice.
Having written so much to Timothy, Paul advised him to give complete attention to all that he has written to him so that his progress may become evident to all. You have heard the word of God for several years either in church, through print media or other means. What have you done with it?
Do not be the hearer alone but a doer. The word of God can only profit you when you give it your complete attention and put it into action. Resolve in your heart to give all your attention to God's word and put them into action for your profitting.
