Matthew24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. KJV
One of the signs of the end time is lukewarmness and lack of genuine love towards God. Bible scholars agree that the end time started when Jesus began his ministry till now and since then, the devil has been attacking the love of men and women towards God. If you take a look at how you started your Christian journey can you say with all boldness that your love for God is intact?
Loving God is not an emotional thing neither is it a feeling. In fact, it is not evidenced by the tears you shed during worship. The devil is out to attack our genuine love (like it was when we gave our lives to Christ) and replace it with subtle sins and things we feel are not harmless. Every time I remember when I gave my life to Christ, I desire God to restore me to that kind of love that I had then.
The love was hot, I pray like no man's business, I study the bible and make comment on almost every verse that I read. Where has your love gone to? What killed your love for God? Where is your act of devotion?
Father, rekindle my love for you In Jesus name.
