LOOKING FOR GOD? HE'S IN CHRIST

March 19, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Colossians1:19 For God in all his fullness

was pleased to live in Christ,

When I look at what Christianity is all about, I see that it is centred around one person- CHRIST. Every believer should be a student of 'Christology' and if you permit me, I'll prefer to call believers of

Christ the 'Christics'. Our wonderful gift of salvation hoovers around a wonderful saviour that gave his life for us all. Glory!

The sweet story didn't stop there, 'papa' God decided to dwell fully in Christ and Christ dwells in us. It pleased God to dwell in Jesus Christ, so if you're looking for God, look at Christ. Jesus has become the gate pass to God. If you have Christ in you, you already have the fullness of God dwelling in you. Glory! Our 'Christic' faith is incomplete without Christ because he's an embodiment of God's grace and mercy to human race.

Your heart should long to know him more. That was why Paul said 'That I may know him'. He knew that there was a mystery locked-up in Christ that should be unveiled to the believers-His fullness. Do not be deceived, everything you desire is in Christ. Stop running from prayer house to deliverance meetings. Are you tired of breaking curses yearly? Look within, tap into the treasures of his fullness and enjoy eternal life.

In the life that Christ offers, generational curse cannot thrive, barreness cannot succeed, frustration and disappointment are bound to fail. It is a life of glory.

Action point

CONFESSION: I walk in the fullness of God through Christ that lives in me In jesus name.
