Gal6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
During my undergraduate days, when some of the medical students want to write exams, we were always encouraged to be a blessing to them. To help them unburden the stress of preparing for exams and trying to attend to personal issues. Some of us would choose to supply food while some would provide other items so that they can stay focus.
The coming together of God's children in the place of fellowship isn't for speaking in tongues, singing and dancing alone. We have a responsibility of sharing in brethren's burdens. In the early church, we were told that no one lacked because the rich bore the burden of the poor. It was hard to know what someone else was going through.
God wants this apostolic practice not to be abolished. When you look around you in the church, there are brethren going through tough times. Pray with them. Try meet the needs that you can meet and be a source of encouragement to someone. You are not like Christ when you abandon brethren during hard times.
I receive grace to share in the brethren's burden In Jesus name. Amen
