2Cor8:12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don't have.
On few occasions, I have had the privilege to call people to make financial commitment for a just cause without pressure. I pity believers that give under pressure or due to the sugar-coated mouth of some preachers. People wonder why they give without being blessed yet they didn't check the condition of their heart before giving their substance. Until you start giving according to the laid down biblical patter, your giving won't work.
The scriptures above said that our giving would only be acceptable when it is done eagerly without grudges or a feeling of giving under pressure and giving from what we have. I have heard people who borrow to sow seeds, that's crass foolishness. The scripture above said you should give according to what you have not what you don't have.
The moment you start pledging to give what you don't have, you're on your way to the land of indebtedness. God won't request from you what he hasn't given you. Any preacher telling you to go and borrow to sow seed is a scammer, run from such people. To make your giving work, give eagerly from what you have.
Once it comes from your heart to release what is in your hands, God releases what is in his hands from his heart to you.
I receive the grace to give eagerly from my substance In Jesus name. Amen
