I have two separate experiences as regards living with unbelievers. The first was as an undergraduate while the second was in my postgraduate days. The first experience was terrible, my room mates would bring in different girls and have sex with them. One of them would spend his monies on girls and would later come begging for indomie. His friend won't give him money to eat but they'll always buy him beer while hunger is killing him silently. What a life!
Even though it was not comfortable living with those guys, God helped me. They always want to pick a quarrel even on things that doesn't matter and they were looking for something to hold on to so as to rubbish me even when those things don't matter, so i became more careful with visitors especially from the opposite sex because most times they think everyone is like them. I thank God they saw the difference between us.
In my second experience, the guy was a muslim. After living together for months, he said you're a different Christian, It was a positive remark though I can't tell what led him to that conclusion but I knew I had lived wisely with him in love. Be courteous of what you say amidst unbelievers, certain actions may not necessarily be sinful but it may pass a wrong message which may hinder their salvation. Live wisely!
Father, I receive grace to live carefully amongst unbelievers In Jesus name.
