Rev14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!"
Recently, a co worker lost her dad. She was very emotional about it and whenever we bring up the discussion, she would be close to tears. I asked if her dad died as a believer of Christ and she said yes. So I told her not to worry about it anymore because that is what matters most.
As Christians, we don't die, we only sleep. Death is a transition into eternity with God. In fact, it is a journey to the place where we have been longing for. The bible said 'blessed are those that die in the Lord for they shall rest from their hard work and their good deeds will follow them'. If we die in Christ, we get promoted.
If you have lost a loved one who died in Christ, do not mourn. Such a fellow has gone to the best place where he/she can be cared for. It is a thing of joy to die in Christ. That was why Balaam said 'let me die the death of the righteous, so that my end may be like his' (Num23:10). The death of a righteous man is not a loss but a gain. Those of us on earth should strive to ensure that whether death or rapture, we are in Christ.
Father, I receive comfort for my loved ones that I have lost In Jesus name.
