Col1:9-10 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
PRAYER LABOUR(C)
I watched a Christian movie years back, a couple waited on God for the fruit of the womb and they got it. God's intention for sending that child into the world was for him to be in ministry just like Samuel. The mother insisted that he must become a medical doctor. The young man struggled with his parents on the matter but they prevailed upon him. After a while, the devil attacked him and he ran mad. Every day of your life, your prayer should be that your children would not miss God in the area of finding God's purpose and fulfilling it.
After praying for the salvation of your children, you must pray them into finding God's purpose for their lives. That's another important point after salvation. The purpose of God for their lives is the reason why they came into the world. Every child has come to fulfil a particular purpose in the mind of God. Your seeds are sent by God to be a partaker of God's programme on earth.
If they don't find God's purpose for their lives and fulfil it, they maybe useful for the enemy. In life, there's no standing on the fence, you're either in God's plan or out of it. It is always good that people find the purpose of God early enough. It would determine alot in their decision- making. Do not be that father or mother that would derail the journey of your children by insisting they do things your own way. Help them with prayers in this aspect.
Father, I receive grace to pray for my children. My seeds shall not miss God's purpose for their lives In Jesus name.
