Jer1:12 Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it
I listened to the testimony of a witch doctor turned preacher. He was raised by a witch who had several ranks in the kingdom of darkness. He lived with that witch right from when he was 6 months old and he practiced African traditional religion for the first 25 years of his life. In his testimony, he spoke about the nothingness of incantations when compared with God's word. He said that one of the reasons why evil people make incantation is because of the power that is inherent in spoken word.
Those in the kingdom of darkness believe that well spoken words can release demons to perform a desired action. Now, they copied that principle from the kingdom of light. Jesus is the true word, John1:1. The opening scripture makes it clear that God is quick to perform his word not our crying or shouting. Though i love aggressive prayers but if it is not backed by faith in God's word through speaking and declaration, it is nothing. If mere incantations can release demons, the spoken word of God have the power to release angels for action, Psalm103:20.
As you pray, God is commited to His word in your mouth. There are scriptures that are relevant to the issue or problem at hand. You must be an encyclopedia of relevant scriptures. Do not think that God is concerned with your shouting and theatrics. I see alot of this in prayer meetings. The love of physical display or theatrics is what led some phony preachers to demand their members to bring cane so that they can flog the devil. What a pity! They forgot that our weapon is not carnal and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God( Rhema Theos) is the only offensive weapon given to us in Eph6:17. Take advantage of God's word.
