Psalms4:3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
In a country like mine, I have seen certain people given preferential treatment especially by the police. I noticed that men in uniform don't suffer the harassment ordinary civilians suffer in the hands of law enforcement agents. There seems to be reverence for men that are in the military, police,road safety etc.
The Psalmist also told us about those that God has set apart for himself - the godly. What does it mean to be godly? The word godly is from the greek word 'Eusebia' which literarily means to worship well. It denotes a pious conduct that is done to please God. A godly man is a God-pleaser and not men pleaser as against an hypocritical character.
The godly man has a high rating in heaven such a fellow commands celestial attention. I will recommend you read a book titled 'The final quest' by Rick Joyner so that you'll have a prophetic understanding on this matter. Paul knew the value of godliness in the life of any man so he said godliness is profitable unto ALL things. 1Tim4:7-8.
Father, I receive grace to be godly in Jesus name. Amen
