Psalms119: 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
While growing up in Lagos -Nigeria, there was a common phrase I grew up with, I didn't invent it but I met it and I later discovered that it was a national phrase used when the power supply company restores electric power. When light comes, we all shout 'Up NEPA'. The whole street would start to bubble because darkness is dispelled and light has come.
When the word of God comes into your spirit man, darkness would be dispelled and the light of God would shine into it. The light carrier is the word of God. When you find yourself in a messy situation in life and you don't know which way to go, turn-on the word switch and you'll see the right path. Many see the bible as a mere compilation of history.
Your approach to studying God's word must change henceforth. The bible is a book written under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost by anointed men. The words remains relevant till today and cannot be revised because they remain perfect. Every thing you can see from Genesis to Revelation is a source of light to brighten your path in life.
Stay glued to God's word.
CONFESSION: I receive the word of God with gladness, to brighten my way and illuminate my path. God's word is at work in me and I cannot stumble In Jesus Name. Amen
