Isaiah1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory told a story about when he received an instruction from the Lord to quit the pastorate of a church to start-up with another. He obeyed God by leaving the church but his heart was still there because his needs were met in that church and he had all that he needed.
While in the new church, he had some difficult times so he decided to pray and told God that his word promised that he would eat the fruit of the land if he obeyed. The Spirit of God told him that he obeyed by leaving the church but he wasn't willing. Immediately, he adjusted his will to love God's instruction.
It is possible to obey but not willingly. You cannot enjoy the best and the good of the land if your obedience and willingness is not intact. Every of God's instruction requires enthusiastic willingness and obedience. You don't obey God whining and complaining, let it come from a willing heart.
Do the two- enjoy the blessings.
Father, I receive the grace to do the two in Jesus name. Amen
