Isaiah43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
In every court, there is a judge, a prosecuting counsel, defense counsel, plaintiff and defendant. God is the judge of the earth, Jesus is our advocate, our counsel for defense while satan and his host are the prosecuting counsel and plaintiff. The devil is fond of accusing us before God and giving God reasons why he shouldn't answer our prayers.
The art of prayer can be likened to what transpires in a court room. Cases are won in a normal court by merit and evidence(s) made available. Also, good arguments supported with relevant portions of the law is vital in winning court cases. In God's court, the word of God is our evidence and how skillful we can use it determines how fruitful our prayers would be to a large extent. Prayers fail most times because we fail in the word.
A good lawyer won't enter into the court room without adequate preparation from the standpoint of the law. Before you start your prayers, always look for relevant scriptures to knock out the argument of the devil. The devil knows the letters of the bible but he doesn't have the spirit that is behind it neither does he know the scriptures.
Gather enough scriptural backing for each request and present it to God.
I receive grace to pray word-based prayers In Jesus name. Amen
