Isaiah30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Bishop David Oyedepo told the story of when he began to hear God's voice for direction. He read a book and after that, he went visiting his friends. When he got there, they've relocated to another destination. Without a definite address from anyone, he began to hear a voice leading him to turn right and left.
Eventually, he got to the street where his friends relocated to by the leading of God's Spirit. There is a voice that spoke to the men of old, their lives were ordered by that voice and not mere instinct. Our generation is down playing the voice of God because we've become carnal and self-reliant.
There is an uncommon voice that stands out from the noise around you, it is the voice of the Spirit. The day you begin to hear that voice, your doubts and confusions are cleared. Oh! how we need to hear that voice today. If the Holy Spirit isn't directing the affairs of your life, you're bound to fall into error upon errors.
When you get to the cross-road of life, seek to hear that uncommon voice that spoke to the men of old.
Father, open my spiritual ears to hear that uncommon voice In Jesus Name. Amen.
