The world can be likened to a cloth, when you wash your cloth severally, expose it to sunlight, it surely won't look new anymore after months or years of wearing and washing. This world is not new anymore, whatever it is that people in it crave for is fading away gradually and hence they try to come up with new models because things fade very fast in the world.
The cars that were exotic ten or twenty years ago are no longer en vogue. The idea of coming up with new models is just another way of collecting money from those that are obsessed with acquiring latest things. In some cases, old models are better than some new models. Those are signs of trying to make what is fading to appeal to people. This world is fast fading away and the people in it as well.
The only set of people that will last forever are those that please God. Dearest, don't pass away with this world. The eternal life in you never fades, our heavenly home is ever new and up to date, a new model of it isn't needed. Let your craving be for what would last (heaven) and not what would pass away (earth). This world is fading away and would soon be destroyed. Don't fade away with the world.
Father, I receive grace not to fade away with the world In Jesus name. Amen
