HOW TO FIND GOD

May 16, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Jer29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

When I look at Africans especially Nigerians, we are one of the most religious nations in the world. Most of our churches and camp meetings are filled with people who came to seek 'God' in their own way and sometimes not in God's way. You'll see people jump from programmes to crusades because they need miracles and want a touch of God.

In all these, just a few find God, why? Those seeking God wholeheartedly are few. There are many whose presence are registered in church meetings but their heart is somewhere else. Some still consult voodoo priests after church all because they want a miracle. Some will even come to testify about a miracle that they got somewhere else but they'll push it over on God calling it heaven sent miracle whereas it was from demons.

Do you want to really find God? Seek him with all your heart and not double-heartedly or half-heartedly. It takes faith and singleness of heart to see God manifest his power. Do not seek help elsewhere except from God. If you're still swimming in sin, it maybe hard for you to find God because his eyes cannot behold iniquity.

No man seeks God in truth without finding him.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to seek you with all my heart In Jesus name. Amen
