1John2:16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. NLT
When seeking admission into a higher institution of learning, one of the crucial things learners check are the courses the institution offer and the necessary requirement for admission. It is not wise to apply to a school where you don't know the courses they offer.
The world can be likened to a school. There are three major courses the world offer and they are:
1- Craving for Physical pleasure or what we can call lust of the flesh.
2- Craving for what we see or lust of the eyes
3-Pride in our achievements and possessions or pride of life.
All sins fall into these three categories.
Do not apply for any of these courses because the end is destruction. The flesh loves pleasure rather than the things of God, the flesh is sensual and wants to possess what it sees and pride is hidden somewhere in the flesh waiting for a little achievement so that he can boast. Prayerfully de-register yourself from any of these courses and live a God-centred life.
Father, I reject the offers of the world In Jesus name. Amen
