The writer of Hebrews was describing to us the spiritual scenario that takes place when we come into God's presence. First of all, he described coming to God's presence as 'coming to Mount Zion'. Zion is a fortress on a hill in Jerusalem and it is also known as the city of David and City of God as well (Psalms87:2-3). The Jews hold Mount Zion in high esteem.
The scope of what Zion is became wider in the spiritual sense because it referred to the nation of Israel (Isa60:14) and it further expanded in meaning to the temple area (Psl2:6, 48:2,11-12). I want you to know that as a believer, you have become the Zion of God and wherever you go, you carry Zion around with you and in you. Glory!
You are that city of the Living God that cannot be conquered. Every time you activate the power and glory of Zion in praise, worship, faith and speaking intongues, innumerable angels would swing into action. It is such a wonderful thing to be in God's presence and to be a carrier of that presence.
You have to live in the consciousness of these truths on daily basis for victorious living.
CONFESSION: Father I thank you because I don't need to travel to Jerusalem to be in Zion, I carry Zion in me everyday and I am your zion where you dwell. Angels are working on my behalf and my life is full of glory and praise.
