In the university, I got into a relationship against God's will for my life. I lost my peace and I began to die inside. I couldn't pray neither did I sense the presence of God. For months, I looked miserable because I was disobeying the voice of the Spirit willingly. I entered into that relationship against wise counsel and leading of the Spirit. I lost it.
My spiritual life was restored when I decided to open-up to some of my spiritual leaders, they prayed and restored me to the right path. When you find yourself in error or you fall into a secret sin that can start an unending cycle, you need to confess to someone that can restore you back to the track. Secret sins would be repeated when we make it secret. Seek help and don't die in silence.
You cannot experience emotional healing not until you confess. There are certain areas of your life that needs healing but not by prayers but by confession. Secret sins, pains and hurt kept for long can make you bitter. Prayerfully look for someone that you can confide in and confess to the person.
