Gal2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
There has never been a time in history when people misconstrue the message of justification. We are justified in Christ for our sins and our record of sins have been washed with the blood of Christ. That's good news for sinners that doubt the redemptive power of God. You and I cannot can't be saved without God's grace. After salvation, what next?
I discovered that God wants us to live holy and not just rely on the fact that our salvation is forever a done deal as some opined. God wants us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling and not to use grace as a cover for sin. We can't be claiming the grace of justification and still use it as a cover for sin.
The message that makes people believe that once they're saved, anything that comes after is allowed. They tag it 'Liberty in the Spirit'. That is bondage again to the old man that was crucified on the cross. Let's keep a watch on our lives and the way in which we live. God's grace is for us to live like him and not as we like.
Father, I receive grace to walk in purity In Jesus name. Amen
