When I was a little Child,my mum bought jotters for all of us in the family. She mandated us to write what we learnt from our personal bible study into the jotter. Every day, she would go through each person's jotter and mark them like a school teacher. That act of studying the scriptures and making note grew with me and wisdom was imparted.
When you consciously and painstakingly impart God's word into your child(ren), they will become wise. At a time in my life, I knew I was wiser than my age because the word of God has become a daily food even till now, I write devotionals every day primarily because of the daily inspiration I receive from the Holyghost but it is also an off-shoot of a sound scriptural upbringing.
As parents, do not be too busy for your children. Start teaching them God's word, they may have behavioural challenges especially when they attain puberty but the word that has been imparted would always hunt them till they straighten up. Only God's word taught and imparted into the heart of a child can cure his folly.
I receive grace to impart the wisdom in God's word into my child(ren) in Jesus name. Amen
