Phil1:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Sometimes when life seems dark and dreary, as a believer you must understand that God is working in you and through you to bring you to the place of destiny. When Joseph was going through his ordeal, he may have thought that God has forgotten him especially when the butler forgot him in prison little did he know that God was working in him.
Truly, the times when God is working in us to make fulfil his good purpose aren't the best times. When you see a man going somewhere, his life may look undefined, directionless and motionless but in all of those things, God is preparing him for his wonderful purpose.
If you are hooked unto God, I want you to know that he knows about what you're going through and at the end of it all, those trials would culminate into the fulfilment of his purpose for your life, don't jump out of the process. When Jesus went through pain for humanity, the resultant effect was the salvation of mankind for those that accept him.
Let it be at the back of your mind that God is working in you if you're connected to him.
