Gal6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
If there is any subject I really do not like to preach and teach on, it is the subject matter of giving to ministers of God. Many think that when you preach on subject like this, you are trying to curry some monies into your pocket and find favour with people. For those of us that are genuine, we are only teaching what we see in the scriptures that would benefit you.
It is very scriptural for you to give your substance to your pastor, sunday school teacher or any other genuine minister that has imparted your life. Not all ministers are after your money as you may be thinking, if God can open your eyes to see the genuine ones and sow into their lives, you will reap the harvest in this world and in the world to come.
In 2Kings4:8-37, the shunamite woman decided to make Elisha the prophet comfortable by providing a room for him in his house. Prior to that time, she was barren but because of what she did, Elisha used his influence with God to make her fruitful. For some one reading this devotional, your fruitfulness, breakthrough,etc is connected to being a blessing to a genuine man of God.
Look for a genuine minister of God that has been a blessing to you and sow into his life.
