We live in a very religious age where people pray all manners of prayers, there are prayer houses and mountains everywhere but why is it that many 'prayees' don't get answers to their prayers? I have been in prayer meetings where the prayer leader said that we shoud pray that God should bless us more than our siblings.
People like those kinds of prayer points, some even pray that God should lift them up in their family so that everyone would come seeking their help. If God bless only you, everyone of your siblings would put their burden on you and you won't enjoy your money. The motives behind those kinds of prayers are selfish and that's why God doesn't give answers to them.
When you pray with the wrong motive or to spite someone, God doesn't answer such prayer. If you want quick answers to your prayers, align your request to God's word. Don't join the bandwagon of those that pray without a pure motive. If God grant the request of some people, they may backslide because they may use their blessings to satisfy the flesh.
Always check your motives before you pray.
Father, purify my motives with the blood of Christ In Jesus name. Amen
