STAYING FAITHFUL TO YOUR SPOUSE Pt.2

April 21, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Hebrews13:4 Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery. NLT

Adultery has become a sinful norm in this generation even from the pulpit to the pew. It is very hard to see men and women that have spent 10years in marriage remaining faithful to their spouse. Before I got married, I thought all temptations to commit immorality would cease but I discovered that there are ladies that don't mind having the married.

Adultery starts as a harmless casual relationship with the opposite sex in most cases. It may be in the office or even in the church, you must be discipline to set limits and abide by them; there have been cases of couples having sex with their ex boyfriends or girl friends or even a secretary in office.

Everything that links you with someone who could stir negative passion in you must be severed. Your best friends shouldn't be the opposite sex, let your wife be your best friend and confidant. Delete the phone numbers of your ex's and don't seek to reconnect with them. It could be harmful. If you have secretary that seduces you, if you can't redeploy her, sack her and do not let her ruin your marriage.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to stay pure and faithful in my marriage In Jesus name. Amen
