Gal1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
On a certain day, I was in front of my family house with a brother,we were cleaning and washing my vehicle. Just as we were about to round-up, I saw two young men that were neatly dressed with a tag on their chest that identified them as elders. I decided to engage them in a chat because I perceive they were coming from a church service.
During our discussion, I discovered that they were heretics and they belong to a sect that is fast-rising in most major towns. He told me that they don't use the conventional bible that protestants use because they have their own bible that was given to their founder by an angel named 'Moroni'. He said their bible was a compilation of some missing books from the original bible.
Apostle Paul knew a time like this would come and that was why he warned that even if an angel comes to preach another gospel to you, let him be accursed. Beware of any gospel that doesn't recognise Christ as the Son of God, his deity, his death,his resurrection and the grace he brought to us, his second-coming, the HolySpirt&the work of sanctification and other fundamentals of the scripture. Beware of gospels that promote wreckless-living,adultery, polygamy&corruption.
Beware of 'another gospel' even if it is to be preached by an angel. Beware!
Father, I receive grace to stay on the path of the true gospel and not fall victim of heretics In Jesus name. Amen
