In biological sciences, it is believed that any unused part of the body would atrophy. What that means is that such a body part would be rendered useless for not being used. The same also applies to spiritual gift and other supernatural endowments. If you don't use them, it is either you lose them or they are rendered useless.
Paul the Apostle was charging his son in the Lord- Timothy to fan into flames the Spiritual gift God gave him when he laid hands on him. I am also charging you today to fan into flames that divine deposit in you. God knew that your world would be in need of that spiritual gift that was why he gave it to you. You don't just sit down and look at the fire of your gift wane.
Every day when you wake-up speak in other tongues, that is the first way to fan that spiritual gift into flames. Speaking in other tongues makes our spirit man sensitive to the supernatural. Seek for avenues where that gift can be expressed. If you have the gift of healing or laying on of hands, pray for every sick person that believes in the gift that you carry. That is how to keep fanning the flame of your spiritual gift.
