God is doing great things in our world through his children. Everywhere you turn, there are remarkable things one can point to. Sometimes, our focus is on the negatives. We think Satan is winning the battle but far from it, God is winning and his kingdom is expanding.

For instance, when you look at the middle east from the media, you'll be tempted to think there are no Christians there. The media emphasis is often about terrorism and religious extremism. What If I told you that Iran has one of the fastest growing churches in the world mostly led by women? Yes, that is one great thing God has done and keeps doing. Though the church is an underground church yet it a valid church.

You may not see big cathedrals there, you may not see anyone carrying big bibles but the true church of the living God is growing organically there and they are spreading secretly. If they had built big churches, those churches would have been torched and razed down by religious extremists  but right in most homes, churches meet.

Same is true about communist China. You may not see cathedrals but the church in China is growing albeit underground. These churches are coordinated by young people. They have grown in millions unknown to the government and they meet in homes and other secret locations where they can't be found. When they meet, they spend more than 4 hours in one service even up to 12 hours sometimes. They are hungry for God.

An American preacher visited one of those churches and he thought the service would end quickly only for him to discover that sermon time alone could last for hours. The congregants demanded he preached all he knew from the bible because they don't have access to the bible so they didn't mind listening to him preach the bible from genesis to revelation. Some who have access to the bible have a whole book of the bible in their head.

Great things are happening everywhere in the world but I have a question for you. What is your level of participation in all these? What is your overall contribution to God's redemptive programme in the nations of the world? Do you want to hear stories like this told without your involvement in it? I have told God not to leave me behind in whatever he os doing in the nations.

My life"s story will not be complete If I am not involved in God's redemptive programme on earth. What will I tell God I did with my time, intellect and resources here on earth?

I am charging you today, don't be an onlooker. When others are going out to evangelize in the neighbourhood and among unreached peoples, when some have decided to intercede for souls and when some have decided to give to support those going to the field, do not be an onlooker. Don't be so cool with doing nothing to advance the kingdom.

Amos 6:1 says, "Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!".
