In my final year, I wrote a very tough exam. Two lecturers taught the course, one was nice and considerate but the other don was frugal with marks. Moreso, it was known to students and staff that he was corrupt. I can't bribe for marks. In his test, he marked me down despite writing well.
The chances of scoring an "A" was so slim. When the exam question was served me, the instruction was that we answer four questions out of five. I answered all questions because I wanted them to record questions where I scored the highest. After the exam, I was unsettled in my spirit so I rushed to the hostel.
When I got to the hostel, I didn't bother eating, I launched myself into deep prayers immediately. I prayed in tongues setting my heart on the examination I wrote because I've made straight A's from my 300L and I don't want anything to change it. The presence of God filled my heart in that prayer.
Later, I left for an evening meeting in the fellowship. I was asked to say the closing prayer. With the fire of prayer burning in my heart, I led everyone to pray fervently. They didn't know why an ordinary closing prayer became "fireful" but within me, I knew I needed a change in the examination I wrote.
To the glory of God, I scored an "A" in that course. It was a slim "A" but it was a distinction anyway. An insider among staff told me that this corrupt don marked me down but the aspect of the other professor pushed me into distinction. I can't explain how it happened because the corrupt lecturer was the major handler of that course so he had upper hand in alloting marks.
Prayer can change bad narratives.
Whatever the enemy has done or may be doing can be halted and reversed in prayers especially praying in the spirit. If i have any secret, that's my secret. Those around me may wonder why I pray in tongues often.
Words are limited in expressing our desires and our human frailty is skewed towards praying inaccurately. The only way known to me for effectiveness and accuracy in prayer is to pray in tongues.
When you have a prayer burden, you can set your heart on it and pray it out in tongues. "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries" (1Cor14:2).
We use the mystery of the Spirit to counter the mysteries of the enemy. Don't joke with prayer opportunities. Don't join the band of those that criticize those that are praying. If there's anything I covet more, it is the prayer anointing.
Prayer position you to be used by God for exploits.
The man that can pray will walk easily in the realm of possibilities. You can change that negative report in the place of prayer. Take those negative narratives to God in prayers.
