Recently, my heart is stirred to learn more about humility. I listened to a message by Pastor Adeboye, he told the story of a brother that couldn't speak English but was used by the Spirit to preach to college students in fluent grammar. This brother raised three people from the dead with God's power.
Later on, this brother became swollen with pride such that he refused to attend bible study meetings because he felt the teacher wasn't good enough. This brother ended up in a psychiatric home. You must understand that where you are today and that thing that makes you unique that you are doing is from God.
There is nothing, I mean absolutely nothing that you have that you haven't received from God. The higher you go in life, the more humble you should be because a little pride can pull you down from a lofty height. It God that opposes the proud in heart not the devil. God hates pride- beware.
Father, I receive grace to be humble In Jesus name. Amen
