John1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
When I looked at the word 'regeneration' properly, I discovered that our salvation and new life in Christ defied the ordinary. At salvation, we were 'reGENErated'. Our genes changed from the ordinary to the supernatural. We become born of God and our human nature is subdued by a higher one. We have a super human nature that is not subjected to the whims and caprices of the devil.
The life of God- Zoe now is in us. Glory! These are the things that I know which has always made me declare that I can't die of sickness or any disease because they don't exist in my 'GENEration. I have a new family tree different from those that aren't born again. Halleluyah! The blood of Christ is a cleanser and detoxifier of whatever I may have inherited wrongly.
If you can understand that your life is not subject to what obtains in your earthly lineage and you confess it daily, you'll experience constant victory. Many people celebrate the problems they inherited from their earthly lineage but for those that are from a different lineage, we make our new creation nature to subdue our earthly nature.
Your understanding, faith and confession has a great role to play here.
